The Welcome of Jesus: How Gospel Hospitality Changes Us & Our World

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is about our hospitable God welcoming us, who were strangers, to the table as His sons and daughters. And this hospitality wasn’t cheap…it cost Jesus His life. When we begin to understand and see Jesus’ hospitable love for us, His enemies, we will begin to understand the source of real hospitality. God’s hospitality towards us will form us into hospitable people who welcome strangers into our lives that become like family. And in our post-Christian world, when we practice this kind of Gospel-motivated hospitality, God will use it to invite our neighbors to His table as well. Our hope through this series is to become more like our hospitable Savior and be used by Him to extend His loving to our hurting and lost neighbors.
