Jesus continues to teach and reveals how disciples, or apprentices of Jesus, will begin to look more like Jesus. This means their lives and their actions will take the shape of Jesus’ life and actions. They are generous with forgiveness, deal with their own sin before helping others, have lives that match their identity, and both hear AND obey Jesus’ commands. But this kind of change doesn’t begin with behavior change, it begins with a change of heart.
