Our History

Meadowbrook Church was conceived in the heart of God to be a blessing to the greater Redmond Area. Senior Pastor Scott Brewer felt God's call to leave his pastorate in Kentucky and start a new church in the Greater Eastside area of Seattle.

Launching on Easter Sunday, April 15, 1990, Meadowbrook began with two families. Today, 160 men, women and children call her their church home. For 15 years, Meadowbrook met at Redmond High School on Education Hill. Today, Meadowbrook holds its Sunday Celebration Services in our Gathering Place near Marymoor Park. (Get Directions)

From day one, our vision has been twofold:

  • (1) to be a safe place where the irreligious or "seeker" could ask tough questions about God and faith, and find answers; and
  • (2) to be a biblical place where "believers" could be encouraged and equipped to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
